A Key Time to Align our Hearts with the Promises of God

DAY 1 – Wednesday, July 12, 2017
Meditating Upon the Names of God
ELOHIM - The All-Powerful One; Creator
FOUNDATION SCRIPTURE FOR OUR 21 DAY JOURNEY: “It is of the LORD’s [YAHWEH’s] mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” (Lam. 3:22-23)
A KAIROS MOMENT is upon us—it’s TIME to experience the promises of God in new ways! The Lord spoke to my heart on July 11, the Fast of Tamuz (17 Tamuz), that He wanted to reveal Himself to us over the next 21 days through the power of His name. That day is believed to be when Moses broke the tablets after returning from Mt. Sinai and found the people worshipping a golden idol. The disobedience of the Israelites didn’t thwart but did delay the promises of God. So let us begin these days together by first asking Him to reveal and deliver from our hearts any idols which have delayed His promises in our lives.
We declare that we desire to be in the center of YOUR WILL FATHER and YOUR TIMING in all things! We decree alignment come NOW in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
The many attributes described by the names of God throughout scripture are KEYS which unlock His promises to us. During these three weeks known in traditional Judaism as “The Narrow Places”, we will focus daily on a specific NAME of God. As we meditate upon these scriptures, our faith will grow to expect His manifest promises in our lives for His glory! These 21 “Days of Mourning” will end on Tisha B’Av (9 Av or August 1) which is the day the people of God believed the evil report of the spies. May we possess the “different spirit” of Caleb and Joshua with hearts postured to prosper, even as our soul prospers.
We decree the increase in our faith as we daily meditate upon His WORD and will press through this time of TRANSITION to RECEIVE the manifestation of His promises to us. In Jesus Name, Amen.
