In the night the Lord strongly indicated that I was to begin reading the book of Daniel. So that morning I was again directed to set aside my usual readings in the Word and get into that Book. As I did so I was impressed that what was given in Daniel was a description of the Body of Christ, His Bride that the Lord was beginning to bring forth in these last days.
Out of chaos, great changes and shifts He is beginning to choose and bring forth those of the caliber of Daniel and his three friends. Even the enemy within the earth realm will recognized them because they are totally committed to the Lord, and will not defile themselves but will totally obey what He has told them to be and do. In Daniel chapter one Daniel and his three friends were youths. That will be true in this time as young people will walk as Nazarites before the Lord totally His in obedience standing in the face of those who want and even will require that they move from their stand in Jesus. Yet it is also tri-generational as the Bride comes forth wearing the white of King Priests as they walk forward together. This is starting to take place even now.
The Spirit of wisdom and revelation will come upon those who are obedient to His Word. They will begin to speak forth the hidden things to even leaders in the nation and nations who will be astounded and amazed on what they are hearing from these insignificant, but powerful individual and corporate believers who are faithfully speaking the Word of the Lord. Like Daniel, some of them will be promoted into responsible places of leadership in spiritual and civil government because He knows He can trust them to serve in humility. Plus their ears are open to hear the God of heaven so that He can give them things they could not have known without it being revealed by Holy Spirit. Secrets will be revealed to these servant lovers of the Lord through dreams with interpretations as well as by visions, prophetic utterances and through Scripture rhemas given in the right season. Daniel was one who “chose to be chosen.” Because of his yielded, hearing heart he was given mysteries with their meaning that he was to speak to the highest leader over nations at that time.
It is extremely important to share first what was given with others of like heart so that the unity of corporate prayer agreement will be made concerning a matter. This was recorded in Daniel 2:13-30. Like Daniel those in the forefront will see together with their team who it is who changes times and seasons, and who takes down and sets up governmental leaders. As they seek Him together they will move into the flow of what is going on as it was with Daniel and his three comrades.
The Spirit of the Lord, the Ruach Elohim will show that He is the God of Heaven who reveals secrets to His friends who have drawn close to Him. The following Scriptures bear this out: John 14:16, 17, 21, 23-26, Daniel 1:17-21 and 2:28a, Psalm 25:14 plus Proverbs 8:34-35 along with many other portions in the Word of God. When Daniel and his three friends were brought before the King and interviewed by him, it was made clear that there was no match of wisdom and understanding in the answers they gave to the King.
It is written in Daniel 1:21 that Daniel continued to be the King’s counselor even through the close of the 70 years of exile foretold by Jeremiah. He was faithful to walk in and speak forth the revelation throughout the long life the Lord gave him, which was unusual in that time. Caleb was another example in Psalm 91:14-16 & 92:12-15 plus Isaiah 46:4. So strong, mature in the Spirit elderly men and women also are being raised up in the Body of Believers in these last times who will, like Daniel, have their life-spans extended and will speak forth what the Lord gives them (Daniel 12:13 AOT). Daniel was over 90 years of age and was told to, “Go his way until the end.” In other words he was to continue to walk with the Lord and stand fast until it was the Lord’s time to take him home. Endurance given in Isaiah 40:31 clearly states the price of running. Older leaders, prophets, seers and teachers are being called upon to trust Him, endure, mount up and run without weariness and walk without falling. All generations are included in the Isaiah 28:5&6 description of those in the present-day remnant.
Psalm 27:4, 8-9 (NOGB) states clearly what our stance is to be now: “I have asked one thing from Yahweh. This will I seek: to remain in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life in order to gaze at Yahweh’s beauty and search for answers in His temple…When You said, “Seek My Face,” my heart said to You, “Oh Yahweh, I will seek Your Face.” We are His present-day Daniels. By the Blood of the Lamb we stand in that place and say, “Yes, Lord!”
