The Holy Spirit has really been convicting me about focus lately. Particularly, understanding my calling, and knowing I have not been called to be a social reformer primarily, but called as a Minister of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. This doesn't mean I don't have opinions or passions about some of these social issues, but knowing that my focus should primarily be and remain on the only real hope for mankind, God’s Kingdom through Jesus Christ our only doorway, mediator, and King. Praise God for the Spirit of Truth that rests and resides within each one of us.
Knowing our calling and anointing gives us clarity of purpose. As Children of God and Children of Light we are being conformed to His image and likeness, being fruitful for we are abiding in the True Vine, Christ Jesus. Walking in this Truth brings us into alignment with His Holiness and Righteousness, therefore with His Kingdom. " Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you"..Matthew 6:33
Seek the LORD as to what your "Calling" is, for some callings are uniquely distinctive places in which you alone can serve. Know who you are called to and what you are called to …then WALK in it! Remembering we are all called to be Ambassadors for Christ given the Ministry of Reconciliation.
